Made by renown Placht family (instrument makers in Germany), this vintage cornet originates some time in the 19th century. Good condition. Refinished in silver, it has beautiful engravings all over the instrument, including embossed brace flanges and ferrules.
 
Comes with small shank mouthpiece and Bb leadpipe. Tunes to high pitched Bb.
 
Plays well, and low register resonates fully!
