This is an Elkhart Built by Buescher Model 57C Bb Cornet. This cornet was a value-line made sometime after WWII until perhaps the late 50s or very early 60s. There are not a lot of information to be found about these cornets, but they are sure well built and plays really well too! The original lacquer is in pretty decent shape, with some scratches and minor acid bleed on the bell. The cornet has a similar wrap and design like the King Liberty/Silversonic, other than it is an all brass construction with the exception of the nickel receiver. The valves have great compression and move flawlessly! The cornet has suffered very little damage or trauma in its past and still in awesome original shape! This is a great cornet for every occasion and will not disappoint!
